Red Sea

The Red Sea is one of the most beautiful eco-systems on the planet. It is about 1800km long and over 300km across at its widest point. One of the worlds most densley populated seas, it is home to more than 1000 species of fish and coral. With very little rainfall, reliable temperatures, a lack of tides, fantastic water clarity and some of the most colourful fish and corals, you could not wish for better diving conditions.

Sharm el Sheikh is situated on the southernmost tip of the Sinai Peninsula, where the desert meets the ocean. Formerly a small fishing village, Sharm el Sheikh has become onew of Egypt's most fashionable beach resorts and a popular choice for both sun worshippers and divers. It is also home to some of the most famous dive sites of the Red Sea such as the Ras Mohammed National Park, the Straits of Tiran and even the wreck of the Thistlegorm and Dunraven.

A holiday in Egypt's Red Sea region offers a vast range of activities, attractions and entertainment. Sailing and diving is a perfect combination for a good vacation. Year round sunshine and a never ending stretch of beaches make it the ideal holiday destination for watersports enthusiasts.
