Santorini is one of the few sites of Greece, with wild beauty created by the explosion of a volcano which is in the middle of the gulf of the island.

Charter sailing is the best way to visit the Greek islands round the Santorini island.

Santorini consists of three islands: Thira, Thirasia and the Aspronisi. Your trip in this island, the southeast island of Cyclades, will be unforgettable.

You'll admire the scenery, you'll enjoy the walk through the narrow paths, you will visit ancient Thira and you'll swim in the crystal clear sea.
Santorini is different from the rest of the Cyclades group by virtue of its interesting geological structure, the result of the eruptions of a now inactive volcano.

The landscape is extremely imposing on the western side of the island, where little white houses perch on top of gigantic, steep rocks that plunge abruptly into the sea.

In contrast to the sheer cliffs on the west, the coast on the eastern side of the island has endless stretches of beach with sand or shingle.

In the east coast there are Monolithos, Kamari and Perissa. In the south coast there are Perivolos, Ai Giorgis, Eksomitis and Vlihada Beaches near Ia are Armenis, Ammoudi and Baksedes.
Night Life

Everything you could ask, you'll find it here. In Fira you can find bouzukia, discos bars, pubs and a cinema. In Ia, Kamari and Perissa you can find bars, pubs and discos. At Imerovigli, Emporio and Pirgo Kallistis you can find bouzukia.
The weather of Santorini is much the same as most of the islands of the Cyclades: hot sunny summers and dry winters with very little rainfalls.

The weather is nice and sunny during the tourist season, from April to September. Santorini has only a very few cloudy days before September.
On some days the weather is so clear that, depending on the humidity of the atmosphere, even the mountains of the island of Crete, 70 nautical miles away from Santorini, can be seen.

Cyclades is perfect for those who are more familiar sailor or where race is the most important thing. During April, May, June, September and October, however, Cyclades suits all types of sailors, because when the wind is blowing a bit weaker. The wind that blows in summer called the Meltemi. It can be windy and the wind coming from the north. It normally begins to blow in July, increases in August and killed in September. In June-August is usually wind 5-11 m / s. Usually, however, keeps it on for one to two days a few times per month. During spring and autumn winds are weaker. Then you can count on a southerly wind 3-8 m / s. Generally one can say that sailing in the Cyclades is a bit more demanding than in other areas and you should be experienced sailors and have at least two weeks in which to see the entire archipelago.
